Joining the strong(er) authentication craze (which we enthusiastically support), along with recent entrants Twitter and Amazon Web Services, Evernote is now including two-factor authentication and access logging for its business edition. Two steps in the right direction for security.
I expect to see a growing trend of many more of these types of services including security features like this in their paid versions as a valuable upgrade from their freeware.

Note that initially Evernote is making two-step verification available for premium & business accounts, but they do plan to make it available for all users (at least according to their blog post).
So the AWS Multi-Factor thing isn’t entirely new, the newness is described here in their most recent blog, dated May 28th, 2013: http://aws.typepad.com/aws/2013/05/aws-iam-now-supports-amazon-facebook-and-google-identity-federation.html
More on that later…
